Mount Monroe 15-16 Dec 01
This outing will be a winter ascent of Mt. Monroe in the Presidential Range.
We will be approaching via the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail and will camp somewhere near the Lakes of the Clouds AMC hut. The summit is only a short distance from that location so we can summit on either Saturday or Sunday depending on timing and conditions. If we are successful with Mt Madison on Saturday, we may also try to summit Mount Washington on Sunday if the conditions are acceptable.
