1.0 OverviewAt Camp Bell this summer the Penguin Patrol nearly completed the Climbing Merit Badge. All they have left is the rappelling requirement. In order to complete the training for the badge, the patrol will go to the Dartmouth Climbing Gym where they will receive instruction in rappelling and have the opportunity to demonstrate rappelling to the merit badge counselor.2.0 Concept2.1 DescriptionWe will meet at the Dartmouth Climbing Gym in Maxwell Hall at 4 pm Sunday. The gym is providing instructors and we will follow their direction during the activity. Our specific goal will be to complete requirement 11:Rappelling. Do the following: 2.2 Schedule of EventsSunday 13 Nov1545 -- Meet at the entrance to Maxwell Hall. Brief on the plan. 1600 -- Meet instructors at gym. Go climbing! 1800 -- Finish in gym. Sign blue cards. 2.3 Expected Conditions and DifficultyThis is an indoor activity, so weather is not an issue.
