Black Community Center in Hanover, make sure our gear is in order and and leave promptly for Errol. Once we arrive in Errol we will park at the boat launch just above the dam, embark, and paddle up the Androscoggin river to Umbagog Lake. We will spend the day exploring the many islands and marshes on the west shore of the lake and in the outlet of the Magalloway river. Scouts have fished and seen eagles on this lake in the past. Saturday evening we will camp at one of the designated campsites on an island or the shore of the lake.On Sunday morning after breakfast we will break camp and paddle back down the Androscoggin to Errol. At the boat launch we will unpack our canoes and put all our camping gear in the cars. We will then shoot the rapids below the dam and under the highway bridge at Errol.
