1.0 Overview

The Norford Lake is a tract of undeveloped land owned by the Norford Lake Trout Club. The lake is stocked with fish from the club and only available to members. We'll be visiting the Norford Lake for a fun outing centered on fishing in the Lake. It will provide advancement opportunities for Fishing and Fly Fishing Merit Badges.

2.0 Concept

2.1 Description

Description We will meet at the Rec Department parking lot at 8am on Saturday, and carpool a short distance in to the lake in Norwich. We will fish until about noon when we will return to our cars. We can eat lunch whenever.

0800 -- Meet at parking lot. Check gear and organize.
1230 -- Pick up

2.3 Expected Conditions and Difficulty

This should be a relatively easy, fun outing with no special challenges. Nevertheless, it is important to be prepared for the unexpected, and to use this outing as an opportunity to develop skills for more rigorous conditions.

2.4 Special Requirements

Open to all scouts, scouters, and parents. There are no skill prerequisites for this outing.
