Institutional Representative (Nick Collins): o Nick has investigated the med form issue and has determined that we _do_ need to use the new form. o Nick raised some concerns about canoe trip safety. He provided a copy of the relevant portions of the GSS and pointed out that we needed to comply carefully with Safety Afloat and Safe Swim Defense during the canoe trip. Tim described his plan to use the first two days of the trip--all on flat water--to take all participants through canoeing merit badge. o Nick expressed his desire that the troop be in full uniform for the Fourth of July. o There are 15 tee shirts and 22 neckerchiefs in stock. o Nick asks that we remind the Scouts to return borrowed merit badge pamphlets.
