Review of Minutes from Last Month

Minutes from October were approved as read.

Committee Reports

Standing Committees

Service Committee
  • Received letter from The Haven thanking us for the monetary support
  • Scouting for Food went well
  • Entering Second Phase of work Note: We are doing well

    AdHoc Committees

  • Bike Hike: Went well and was successful. Committee discharged.
  • Orange Cove: Went “Good.” Committee discharged.

    Old Business

  • Uniforms. Ok, but needs improvement.
  • Opening Ceremony. Opening ceremony needs to be taken more seriously.
  • Disposition of Car Wash Funds. Letter sent from Haven received. Motion: The letter is to be read during the next troop meeting by the Scribe. Motion Passed.

    New Business

  • Parents Meeting. Food? Motion: We should bring food to the parents night. Motion Passed
  • Survival Hike. Motion: To re-plan the survival hike, with planninc committee chaired by Adam. Motion Passed.
  • November Program. Motion: First Aid and CPR Instructor Classes. Motion Passed.
    Week 1 & 2: First Aid Stations run by older scouts with help from younger ones, carries on Week 1
    Week 3 & 4: More stations with CPR instructor and What You Know on Week 4
  • Winter Shakedown. Motion: To have the Winter Shakedown on Dec. 10-11th on Holt’s Ledge, with planning committee chaired by Erik. Motion Passed.
